WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing Soul Traveler by Rev. John J. Rogers.  As always, his books (and this is no exception) arouse interest and offer much information about the spiritualist view of life after death.  This book, however, is different and offers a delightful “plus.”  

The difference lies in the fact that the author not only talks from his own experience, but has been willing to share the content of his conversations with his spirit guides, particularly Gladys.  She was a highly respected medium while on this plane, and continues to serve as a source of information and inspiration to the author.  The discussions are fascinating.

Soul Traveler is definitely not a boring book, and makes us think about where we came from as well as where we are going.  It is a good “read.”

I would highly recommend John Rogers’s most recent book, Soul Traveler, if one should wish to gain a better understanding of the reincarnation experience.  This book is not based upon speculation but rather actual communications that the author has received from his spirit guides. Special emphasis is given in this book to the preparatory steps taken by each soul before embarking on a new incarnation in the earthly realm. 

Rogers describes in some detail the advisory roles played by the Council of Twelve and personal spirit guides in the development of a soul’s specific life blueprint for an upcoming life.  The overriding message of this book is that the circumstances and close personal relationships that we encounter in life are not the product of chance or coincidence but rather something that each soul freely plans out in detail ahead of time.

I N T R O D U C T I O N

In a way, we are traveling souls, winding throughout the many worlds that are there for us to explore. Like a space ship in its

search for that distant world, we are ready to seek the fringes of the universe. Like that unknown world, our soul is an untapped

area that contains a wealth of information about who we really are and why we elected to come to the earth. It contains all that is needed to accomplish the tasks that we elect to do while we are here. Yet there is still so little that is known about the soul.

Now is time to explore that unfamiliar territory. I remember as a child being told that we have a soul and we need to protect it, but what exactly is it and how important is the soul in the first place? In Soul Traveler I undertake a journey that will answer some of the previously unanswered questions in my previous book, The Medium Within. These questions concern the function of the soul and the wealth of information that is contained in its data banks—the storehouse of hidden values that we all have. I will show that the soul contains a great depth of knowledge that will help us understand our past, present and future existence here, as well as other places we lived and called home at one time or another—all contributing to making up the “real” you.

One of the things that we will learn is that our soul plays a large part in what we do in the material world today and how our past, through reincarnation recall, contains memories that come through our dream state and our waking states to play a greater part in our daily lives. Our soul is not restricted.

As some will tell you, it expands further from the physical

body then we first expected, reaching to great distances and

perhaps even to the other side.
